At the club’s lunch meeting of July 9th, 2008, Centennial Governor Salvador ‘Junior’ Espat presented district service awards to Yvette Burks and Paul Hunt on behalf of outgoing District Governor Ricardo Marichal.  Junior also received an award for his service in promoting the Rotary Foundation, which was in turn presented to him by Past President Sandra Bedran.

 
Past Governor Espat also presented the Rotary International (RI) Presidential Citation to Past President Sandra Bedran.  The Presidential Citation is an award given to clubs who carry out projects in all of the specific categories of service along with any special projects required by the RI President.  This is the fourth Presidential Citation the club has won since 2003.
